મારા બાલુકાકાને મેં પુછ્યું, ‘‘તમે ભગવાનમાં માનો છો ?’’
બાલુકાકા બોલ્યા, ‘‘ના.’’
મેં વળી પાછું પુછ્યું, ‘‘કેમ માનતા નથી ? આ ચાંદો–સુરજ કોણે બનાવ્યા છે ? ધરતી–આકાશ કોણે બનાવ્યાં છે ?’’
બાલુકાકા કહે, ‘‘જો ભાઈ, એ બધું જેણે બનાવ્યું હોય તે જાણે. મને હેરાન ના કર…’’
મેં કહ્યું, ‘‘ના, તે પરમાત્માએ બનાવ્યાં છે.’’
બાલુકાકા બોલ્યા, ‘‘તો જા, તારી વાત સાચી ! પરમાત્માએ બનાવ્યાં. તેમાં વાંધો શો છે ? તેના વીશે તારે ફરીયાદ કરવી હોય તો બીજાને કર.’’
મેં કહ્યું, ‘‘તો પછી તમે ભગવાનમાં કેમ માનતા નથી ?’’
બાલુકાકા બોલ્યા, ‘‘ભગવાન જોડે મારે કોઈ વાંધો નથી. મને વાંધો હોય તો તે તારા જેવા લોકો જોડે છે. જો હું કહું કે હું ભગવાનમાં માનું છું તો તારા જેવા લોકો પુછશે કે કયા ભગવાનમાં માનો છો ? અને કેમ માનો છો ? એટલે સો વાતની એક વાત. નન્નો કહી દેવાનો.. નહીં તો મારે બીજા સો જવાબ આપવા પડે.’’
મેં કહ્યું, ‘‘ભગવાન બધા સરખા છે. જ્યાં સુધી તમે કોઈ સુપ્રીમ પાવરમાં માનો ત્યાં સુધી.’’
કાકા કહે, ‘‘તું આટલો બધો જ્ઞાની થઈ ગયો છે તો મને કહે કે તારો ‘સુપ્રીમ પાવર’ એટલે કોણ ? અલ્લાહ – જીસસ – કૃષ્ણ – મહાવીર – ગ્રંથ સાહેબ ??’’
મેં કહ્યું, ‘‘એ બધા જ સુપ્રીમ.’’
કાકા બોલ્યા કે, ‘‘બધા કેવી રીતે સુપ્રીમ કહેવાય. સુપ્રીમ તો એક જ હોય. બધા સુપ્રીમ ન હોઈ શકે.’’
આ જગતમાં મોટામાં મોટો પ્રોબ્લેમ એ છે કે કોઈ પણ વાતની બે બાજુ હોય છે. જે એક બાજુને જુએ છે તેને બીજી બાજુ પર શું છે તેની ખબર નથી. એટલે એને પોતાની બાજુ ખરી લાગે છે. હવે બીજી બાજુનાને પોતાની બાજુ ખરી લાગે છે. એમની માન્યતાઓ એટલી દૃઢ હોય છે કે તેમને એવું પણ નથી લાગતું કે બીજી વ્યક્તી ખરી હોઈ પણ શકે.
અમે બ્રાહ્મણ સમાજની પચીસમી જયન્તી ઉજવતા હતા. તેની મીટીંગ હતી. વાત આવી ડીનરની. વડોદરાના ભાગવતભાઈ કહે, ‘‘આપણે બ્રાહ્મણ કહેવાઈએ એટલે આપણા ડીનરમાં લાડુ મસ્ટ !’’ સુરતના મારુતીભાઈ કહે, ‘‘હવે અમેરીકામાં જુના વીચારો છોડીને ઘારી–પુરી રાખો.’’ અને ચાલ્યું ડીસ્કશન. અડધા લાડુની તરફેણમાં અને અડધા ઘારી–પુરીમાં જોડાયા. ડીસ્કશન પછી ‘તું-તાં’ પર આવી ગયું. સારું થયું કે આ બધા બ્રાહ્મણો હતા. જો રજપુતો હોત તો તલવારો ખેંચાઈ હોત. પછી એક વડીલ નીવેડો લાવ્યા કે બન્ને વાનગીમાં જે સસ્તી પડતી હોય તે બનાવો. છેવટે પૈસાની સીચ્યુએશન જોતાં લાપસી જ પોષાય તેમ હતું. છેવટે લાડુ–ઘારીમાં ત્રીજા લાપસીબહેન ફાવી ગયાં !
ઘણી વખતે બે સાઈડ એકમેકની સામસામે આવી જાય તો ત્રીજું એલીમેન્ટ પેદા થાય છે અથવા તો તૈયાર કરવું પડે છે. બન્ને પાર્ટી પોતે ખરી જ છે એમ દૃઢ પણે માનતી હોય છે. ખબર નહીં કે એવું કેમ બને છે કે બન્ને બાજુઓ પોતાના પક્ષને જ સાચો કેમ માનતા હશે ? જો બે પક્ષો વચ્ચે રમતની હરીફાઈ હોય અને રમતમાં હારજીત આંકડાઓથી નક્કી થતી હોય; છતાં અમ્પાયર કે રેફ્રી રાખવા પડે છે. અમે જ્યારે નાના હતા અને રસ્તા પર ક્રીકેટ રમતા, ત્યારે ભીંત પર કોલસાથી સ્ટમ્પ દોરતા. અને બોલ સ્ટમ્પ પર વાગે તેની ખબર કેવી રીતે પડે ? ત્યારે અમે કોઈ આંખે નબળાને અમ્પાયર બનાવી દેતા અને પછી કહેતા કે ‘અમ્પાયર ઈઝ ઓલ્વેઝ રાઈટ.’ આ વાક્યથી વધારે ઈન્ગ્લીશ અમારામાંથી કોઈને નહોતું આવડતું. પણ તેમ છતાં; અમે એ અમ્પાયરનું માનતા. અને આમ, અમે રમતમાં વચલો રસ્તો શોધ્યો હતો. આજે તો કમ્પ્યુટરની આંખે ટેસ્ટ મેચોમાં નીર્ણયો લેવાય છે; તોય મન દુ:ખ તો રહે જ છે.
હું માનું છું કે જો બન્ને પક્ષ ખોટા હોય તો જ ઝગડો લાંબો ચાલે. જો એક પક્ષ શાન્તી રાખવા માંગતો હોય તો બીજા પક્ષની વાત માની લે.. પછી ભલેને તેમ કરવાથી સ્વમાન ઘવાતું હોય. પહેલાં એ નક્કી કરવું જોઈએ કે શું હાંસલ કરવા ઝઘડીએ છીએ.
મારી પત્નીએ એક સફરજન મારી બે દીકરીઓને આપ્યું અને કહ્યું, ‘‘બે બહેનો વહેંચી લેજો.’’ મોટી કહે, ‘‘હું કાપીશ અને અડધો ભાગ નાનીબહેનને આપીશ.’’ નાનીને એમ કે મોટીબહેન કાપીને મોટો ભાગ પોતે લઈ લેશે. એટલે એ મંડી પડી, ‘‘ના, મને કાપવા દે.’’ આમ ‘હું કાપું–હું કાપું’ ચાલું થયું. હવે આ વાતનો નીવેડો મારી પત્ની લાવી. તેણે કહ્યું કે, ‘‘તમારામાંથી જેણે બે ભાગ કરવા હોય તે કરે; પરંતુ તેના બે કટકામાંથી, પહેલો ટુકડો પસંદ કરવાનો હક્ક બીજીનો.’’ પછી બન્ને શાન્ત થઈ.
વરસો પહેલાં, જ્યારે હું હાઈ સ્કુલમાં ભણતો હતો, ત્યારે ‘તલાક’ ફીલ્મનું કવી પ્રદીપનું એક ગીત પ્રખ્યાત થયું હતુ. તેમાં તે ગાય છે : ‘સંભલ કે રહના અપને ઘર કે છીપે હુએ ગદ્દારોં સે.’ તેમાં આવતું કે ‘તુમ્હે હમારે કશ્મીર કી રક્ષા કરની હૈ.’ જે મને ન સમજાતું. મેં મારા બાપુજીને પુછ્યું, ‘‘શ્રીનગર–કશ્મીર તો આપણા ભારતમાં આવ્યું, પછી એની જુદી રક્ષાની આ શી વાત છે ?’’ એમણે મને સમજાવ્યું કે કશ્મીરના બે ભાગ પડી ગયા છે. આપણો ભાગ પાકીસ્તાન માંગે છે. ત્યારે જ મેં તેમને કહ્યું હતું કે હવે જેના ભાગમાં જે આવ્યું છે તે લઈને બેસી રહોને ! ત્યારે તેમણે કહ્યું હતું, ‘‘તું હજુ નાનો છે. મોટો થઈશ ત્યારે સમજાશે.’’ આજે 72 વરસે પણ મને તે હજુ નથી સમજાતું. ત્યારે બન્ને દેશો પાસે પોતાના ભાગનાં કશ્મીર હતાં અને આજે પણ છે. વાત તો ત્યાંની ત્યાં જ છે. બેમાં કોઈકે ખરું હોવું જરુરી છે ? કદાચ તેને જ પોલીટીક્સ કહેતા હશે.
બે દેશો વચ્ચે યુદ્ધને તીલાંજલી આપી અને શાન્તી સ્થાપવી હોય તો મંત્રણાઓમાં સૈનીકોની માતાઓને બેસાડવી જોઈએ અને પોલીટીશીયનોને ઘેર બેસાડવા જોઈએ.
મેં મારા બાલુકાકાને પુછ્યું, ‘‘તમે ભગવાનમાં નથી માનતા તો પછી તમારી જાતને આસ્તીક કેમ ગણાવો છો ?’’
બાલુકાકાએ મને કહ્યું, ‘‘જો ભાઈ, હું ટીલાં–ટપકાં ન કરું; પણ હું આધ્યાત્મીક છું. દુનીયાને ચલાવનારી કોઈ શક્તી તો છે જ. તું માનવ શરીરને જ જો. અને શરીરની બધી પ્રક્રીયાઓનું નીરીક્ષણ કર. તો તું એ પરમશક્તીમાં માનતો થઈ જઈશ.’’
મેં કહ્યું, ‘‘ચાલો ત્યારે તમે નાસ્તીક નથી અને તમને કોઈ આસ્તીક ગણે તો તે તમને ગાળ સમાન લાગે છે. બરાબરને ?’’
કાકા બોલ્યા, ‘‘હું આધ્યાત્મીક છું. ભગવાનમાં નથી માનતો. મને ધર્મના નામે ચાલતા ધતીંગો નથી ગમતા. અને તારી જેમ જાત જાતની ધજાઓ લઈને ઘુમવામાં હું નથી માનતો. મને મોક્ષ અપાવવા નીકળી પડેલા આ ગુરુઓ નથી ગમતા. હા, પરન્તુ જગતને નીયન્ત્રણમાં રાખનાર કોઈક શક્તી છે. તેને હું નમું છું.’
મારે કહેવું પડ્યું કે કાકાએ ‘સીક્કાની ત્રીજી બાજુ’ શોધી કાઢી.

Ahiya aapne har week navaa navaa lekh ni majaa layi ye chhiye ane aapnaa mantaviya aapiye chhiye ane ichhiye chhiye ke Andhshradhaa ma full stop aave. Shaayad aapne pan 3jo rasto shodhvo joi ye.

ઈશ્વર નુ અસ્તિત્વ છે કે નહી? આનો જવાબ છે; “છે અને નથી.”
સીક્કાની પહેલી બાજુ:
“નથી” ઍટલા માટે કે આજ સુધી કોઈઍ ઈશ્વરને જોયો નથી. કેવળ તેના વિષે સાભળેલ છે.
સીક્કાની બીજી બાજુ:
“છે” ઍટલા માટે કે ઈશ્વર નુ અસ્તિત્વ મસ્જીદો, મંદિરો કે દેવળો માં નથી પણ મનુષ્યના દિલ માં છે. જે દિલ માં માનવતા છે, તે દિલ માં ઈશ્વર નુ અસ્તિત્વ છે.
સીક્કાની ત્રીજી બાજુ:
કોઈ તો છે જે આ બ્રહભાંડને ચલાવી રહયો છે, જેને કોઈ પણ નામ આપી શકાય.

Very true Qasimbhai. We must accept ourself that their is GOD, but looking for him in places like Mandir-Masjid is our idiocrasy. As you mention which I have mention many time that we must look for him in ourself – inside us.
Recently, I present this quote in our daily motivational meeting at work ; “In order to be successfull in life, one must take time everyday to meet most important person of their life” Then I ask everyone who is most important person in their life. With no surprise, many answer GOD is most important person of their life. So then I ask do you take time to him? Many answer yes we go to church. Which lead me to believe that they have no clue of who they are refering too. They are just following rest of herd.
As I mention, we must find ourself 3rd way to convince these peoples that their is GOD but he is not in Murtis or Dargaah or Cross.

There is no GOD, if there is one then it’s SUN which regulate our universe ,control our enviorment. That’s why,Ram ,Krishna were praying to SUN. GOD was created during civilisation,to put fear in humanbeings and guide them to right way of living.That’s why devils time turns in to civilised world.
I have a quation or I always confuse me ,,if there is GOD and created and controling all living creatures.My quation is, Is there any goal or mission behind it.Can any one tell me where THOU -GOD wants to take us to.. What’s gain doing so.There is well known song,” KAHE KO DUNIYA BANA YE”

Manharbhai: you have ask very valid question. Is their really a GOD existance?
I believe it is in your spirit. Unforunately, human being does not want to understand this. They prefer to adopt what has been handed tous from their elders. And in this process we are at stage where we do not know nor we can prove what is true!
I have always believe that any living thing take birth is not GOD. With saying this, Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Jesus Christ, Mohamd Paygamber, Sai Baba.. and many other whom most people beleive and claim as their GOD is just another Human lived on this planet.
It is their teaching that we must admire and absorb in our daily life. Their teaching does lead us in to Humanity or Karmaa. I beleive having good Karmaa will lead us in to inside ourself where we may be able to discover GOD if he exist. With beleiving this, reaching out to fellow human with helping hand and then getting sattisfaction of doing(without any intrest or selfishness) is where we meet our GOD.
I also agree of you saying if their is one than it should be SUN. Rightfully, SUN is who continusely serve us whithout failling. Without SUN, living thing would not exist.

It is our thinking that India has produce more GOD then anywhere else on Earth. If you identify and call someone GOD then they will ragardless how crook they are or how greedy they are. First of: as I have comented before these are so called GOD are livng creature who have taken birth and have gone through death… If they were GOD then death should not have been to them! ????

who am I and where did I come from?
We are all atomic particles of the supreme spiritual sun of the Lord. We possess consciousness and a spiritual identity, which contains a drop of the highest spiritual bliss. Our spiritual form is made of a tiny fragment of spirit and is somewhat like the form of Lord Krishna. Our misfortune is that we cannot see our spiritual form. However, because we are now aware of it and want to see it means that we have become fortunate. Understanding this is the primary purpose of human existence.
By understanding our spiritual identity, as summarily described above, we can also perceive that we are actually beyond the labels of being liberated or in material bondage, as explained in the Srimad-Bhagavatam (11.11.1): “The Supreme Lord said: The terms ‘bound’ and ‘liberated’ are an explanation from the modes of nature, not from real substance. Because maya is the root of the modes [and I am the Lord of maya], there is no liberation or bondage for Me.”
These may be the words of the Supreme as they apply to Him, but they also apply to the individual souls as well. If we are spiritual beings, then, ultimately, bondage and liberation have no substantiality. The soul is not bound or liberated in substance, but only by the temporary association with the material modes, which means that such designations are also impermanent. Since the modes of nature are based on maya, there is no actual bondage. It is only a perception, not an actuality. Thus, there is also no liberation. The soul is never penetrated by the modes, or maya. It is purely spiritual. It is only the individual consciousness that surrounds the soul, so to speak, which is affected like one in a dream. Therefore, the goal of life is to become spiritually awakened, purify our consciousness to become free from our false perceptions, and return to the spiritual strata and the association of, and service to, the Supreme Being. In this way, material existence comes to an end after attaining love of God.
I do not think we should leble any living creature to GOD… They may be messanger and have positive teaching and preaching, but it will not make them GOD!!

Hinduism allows to worship personal Istadev by any name in Saakar or Niraakar form. Does Islam allow to worship god by 99 names given in the scripture ?
One may not take away Brahmins’ art of better living through performing rituals.

ઈશ્વર, ભગવાન, પરમાત્મા એ નરી ઉપજાવી કાઢેલ કલ્પનાની વાતો છે. છેલ્લા ૨-૩ હજાર વરસમાં લીપી, ભાષા, યુનીકોડ, સ્માર્ટ ફોન અને ટેબ જેવી સુખ સમૃદ્ધીની ચીજ વસ્તુઓ બજારમાં મળતી થઈ એમાંથી એક વસ્તુ માટે આ ઈશ્વરે સહાય કરેલ નથી. યુરોપ કે અંગ્રેજ લોકો ભારતને મદારીઓનો દેશ કહેતા હતા એનું કારણ આપણની ભુલ કબુલ ન કરવાની પ્રવૃતી અને બીજાના ઉપકારને પોતાના શાસ્ત્રો કે પુર્વજોની મહરબાની સમજી બીજાના ગુણને યાદ ન કરવાની વૃતી મુખ્ય હતી. માથા વગર ધડ બે દીવસ લડતું હતું એ આજ દીવસ સુધી આપણે ગાઈ વગાડી યાદ કરીએ છીએ. જૈનના પર્યુષણ, ગણપતી વીસર્જન, નવરાત્રી અને દશેરા દીવાળીના તહેવારમાં આપણે માથા વગરના ધડની સ્તુતી સીવાય બીજું શું કરીએ છીએ? મનુષ્યના ધડ ઉપર હાથીનું માથું હોવું જોઈએ કે હાથીના ધડ ઉપર મનુષ્યનું માથું હોવું જોઇએ? મહત્વ કોનું માથાનું કે ધડનું?

Because of the material world and also because of war fare, has revolunize all the techanoligy ,so we are enjoying traveling communicating and people are connected istantly so the world become smaller in the people eye.Hinduisam is telling us free from material world or maya, Think if every one practice and living like that then whole country turn in to SADHUS’ world look,like a jungle or Africa or Amazone jungle,Is it acceptable?
Muslim ,Kristian , etc. have one GOD but Hindu have Three Billions GODs,means each and every person is GOD.means respect each other and make living in the harmony of LOVE. and PEACE. But—–?

સિક્કાની બે બાજુ હોય પણ હરનીશભાઈ જેવા લેખક જ ત્રીજી બાજુ બતાવી શકે. હરનીશભાઈ એમના લેખોમાં હસતાં હસાવતાં લોકોને સમજવા જેવો સંદેશો આપી જતા હોય છે.
સમજને વાલે સમજ જાતે હૈ , નાં સમજે વો અનાડી હૈ…….

મિત્રો,
હરનીશભાઇ સાથે મળીને ઘણી વાતો સમજી છે. જૂના અતુલીયનો ખરાં ને ? તેમની સંદેશો આપવાની રીત નિરાળી છે.બાલુકાકાના માઘ્યમથી તેમણે વાચકોને વિચારતાં કર્યા…..હસતાં હસાવતાં મગજ અને હ્રદય સોંસરો સંદેશો આપી દીઘો. બાલુકાકાની સીક્કાની ત્રીજી બાજુ….આસ્તિકો અને નાસ્તિકોને વિચારતાં કરે છે. હું સમજુ છું કે…..‘જેઅો જડશું હશે તેઅો તેમના બાપાઅે ખોડાવેલે કુવાનું ખારું પાણી જ પીવાનો અાગ્રહ રાખશે.‘ પરંતુ જેઓ વિચારી શકે છે તેઓ પાડોશીના કુવાનું મીઠું પાણી પીને પોતાની તંદુરસ્તી જાળવશે…….પછી ભલેને તેમ કરવાથી સ્વમાન ઘવાતું હોય…..પહેલાં નક્કી કરવું જોઇઅે કે શું હાંસલ કરવા ઝગડીઅે છીઅે ?‘
ત્રીજો રસ્તો…સુંદર છે….જેમને પોતાના બાળકો ગુમાવવા પડે છે તે માતાઅોને નિવેડો લાવવા બેસાડવી જોઇેઅે.
મારાં વિચારો છે કે, જે વ્યકતીઓને પોતાની આવડત અને માનસિક તેમજ શારિરિક શક્તિઓમાં પુરો વિશ્વાસ નથી હોતો તેઓ ડૂબતાં જેમ તણખલું શોઘે છે તેમ કોઇ પ્રકારનાં ભગવાન, ગોડ, પયગમ્બર, ગુરુજી….આસારામ જેવાં ગુરુજીઓમાં તરણું શોઘે છે….પોતાના પ્રશ્નોને સમજીને ..અેકલવ્ય બનતાં જેને નથી આવડતું તઓ ગુરુજીની શોઘ કરે છે……ભગવાન (?)ને લાંચ આપીને પોતાની જાતને છેતરીને પોતાના કામો કઢાવવનું કામ કરે છે.
મઘયમપ્રતિપદાનો નિયમ શું અા વચલા માર્ગનો સંદેશો આપે છે ?

ગીતાના અઘયાય.૧૧ શ્લોક : ૩૩માં કૃષણ કહે છે કે.‘ માટે હે અર્જુન તું ઉભો થા, શત્રુઓને જીતીને યશ મેછવ અને સમૃઘ્ઘિવાળું રાજ્ય ભોગવ. આ સૌને મેં પ્રથમ જ હણી નાંખ્યા છે, તું માત્ર નિમિત્ત રુપ થા.‘ હું મનું છું કે…યુઘ્ઘ, હિંસા, વિનાશ….અજર…અમર છે. પરસનલ જીવનમાં ત્રીજી બાજુ શક્ય છે…..તે હું ચોક્કસ માનું છું.
હંસાબેનને જ્યારથી હરનીશભાઇનો સાથ મળ્યો છે ત્યારથી સફરજનના ટૂકડા દિકરીઓને સુખી રાખે છે….હેટસ ઓફ તુ હરનીશભાઇ….અભિવ્યક્તિમાં હાસ્યને સહારે સંદેશો મારી
જાણમાં કદાચ પહેલી વખતે મળ્યો..

હરનીશભાઇ, આપના વિચારો સાથે હું ૧૦૦% સંમત છું. આપણે સમાન વિચારસરણી ધરાવતા મિત્રો છીએ. જન્મભૂમિ-પ્રવાસીમા ‘હમ હૈ હિન્દુસ્તાની’ લેખ પણ મને ગમ્યો.
