♦ ધોળકીયા ફાઉન્ડેશન સંચાલીત ‘હરીકૃષ્ણ કોમ્યુનીટી સેન્ટર’, સુરત દ્વારા તા. 19 માર્ચ, 2018ના રોજ રૅશનલ લેખો અને ‘ઈ.બુક્સ’ના ક્ષેત્રે વીશીષ્ટ કામગીરી કરવા બદલ એવોર્ડ એનાયત કર્યો.

પ્રવૃત્તી : ● વૈજ્ઞાનીક –વ– માનવીય અભીગમ કેળવવો, માનવજીવનને ખોટી પરમ્પરા, નીરર્થક કર્મકાંડોમાંથી મુક્તી અપાવનારા કે સમાજને ભરડો દઈને વ્યાપેલી અન્ધશ્રદ્ધામાંથી છુટકારો અપાવવા માટે રૅશનલ વીચારોને એક જ ‘ઈ’ અને‘ ઉ’ (સરળ જોડણી)માં પ્રગટ કરવા.

● રૅશનલ તેમ જ સમાજ ઉપયોગી સાહીત્યની ‘ઈ.બુક્સ’નું પ્રકાશન કરી, તદ્દન મફતમાં વહેંચવી.

  2. તમારી સાચી ઓળખ તમારા જીવનમંત્ર અને તમારા ગુજરાતમિત્ર સાથેના સંબંધ પરથી મળી રહે છે..બીજુ નડિયાદના ડૉ. જેરામ જે દેસાઈનું લખેલું સુંદર પુસ્તક -વહેમ-અંધશ્રધ્ધા નિષેધ – ક્યાંક ઉપલબ્ધ હોય તો જણાવશો. મેં ડૉ.દેસાઈ સાથે ચર્ચા કરી હતી પણ તેમની પાસે નકલ સ્ટોકમાં નથી.
    બીજું રેશનલ છો એટલે કહું છું.. મારા બ્લોગની મુલાકાત લઈ મારી વાર્તા રણવાટ વાંચી તમારો પ્રતિભાવ આપશો તો આનંદ થશે.

      ડૉ. જેરામ દેસાઈ, ગુજરાતમાં પા પા પગલી કરતી રૅશનલ પ્રવૃત્તીઓના છેલ્લા બે દસકા કરતાં વધુ સમયથી કામ કરતા સન્નીષ્ઠ, સક્રીય, કર્મનીષ્ઠ કાર્યકર છે. ભારતીય ભાતીગળ સમાજમાં પ્રચલીત જુદી જુદી અન્ધશ્રદ્ધાઓ વીશે એમની પાસે આધારભુત માહીતીઓ છે. તેઓશ્રીએ આ ગ્રંથની કેટલાક વીભાગોમાં વહેંચણી કરી છે. ખાસ કરીને હીન્દુ સમાજવ્યવસ્થા આધારીત જે અન્ધશ્રદ્ધાઓ છે, તર્ક અને સત્યના આધાર વીનાની જે માન્યતાઓ છે, તેનું તેમણે સાદી, સરળ, સીધી, લોકભોગ્ય ગુજરાતી તળપદી શૈલીમાં નીરુપણ કર્યું છે.

      શુકન–અપશુકન, શુભ–અશુભ, દોરા–ધાગા, માંદળીયાં–તાવીજ, મુઠ–ચોટ મારવી, મેલી વીદ્યામાં વીશ્વાસ, મન્ત્ર–તન્ત્રની સીદ્ધીઓ, પ્રાર્થના, પુજા, યજ્ઞ, વ્રત, પાપ–પુણ્યનો ખ્યાલ, સ્વર્ગ–નર્કની વીભાવના, ચોર્યાસી લાખ અવતારનો કાલ્પનીક વીચાર, આત્મા–પુર્વજન્મ–પુનર્જન્મ, ભુત–પ્રેતયોની, શ્રાદ્ધકર્મ, વીધાતાના લેખ, કર્મનો સીદ્ધાંત, પ્રારબ્ધ–નસીબ, ફળ જ્યોતીષ, હસ્તરેખા, કહેવાતા ચમત્કારો, કથા–સપ્તાહ, દેવ–દેવીઓ, પરમાત્મા–ઈશ્વરનું અસ્તીત્વ, ધર્મગુરુઓનું વર્ચસ્વ, મોક્ષ વગેરે જેવા અગણીત વીષયો ઉપર તેમણે ખુબ જ જહેમત ઉઠાવી, ગુજરાતની પ્રજા સમક્ષ વૈજ્ઞાનીક સત્યો અને ઈન્દ્રીયજન્ય અનુભવોને આધારે તર્કશુદ્ધ સાચી વાતો રજુ કરી છે.

      આ ગ્રંથ, વીચારો, જ્ઞાન, માહીતી અને જીન્દગીનાં તટસ્થ નીરીક્ષણોનો ધબકતો ,નીખાલસ, વૈચારીક ભોમીયો છે. જેમ ડુંગરો, પર્વતો, જંગલો ખુંદવા ભોમીયાની જરુર પડે છે તેમ માનવજીવનમાં અને ખાસ કરીને ભાતીગળ ગુજરાતી સમાજમાં પ્રચલીત અન્ધશ્રદ્ધાઓમાંથી બહાર નીકળવાની આ એકત્રીત કરેલી માર્ગદર્શીકાની જરુર છે.

      ધર્મ આધારીત વીચાર–પદ્ધતી, જીવન–પદ્ધતી બધાં જ પરીબળોની આસપાસ વીવીધપ્રકારની અન્ધશ્રદ્ધાઓનાં બાવાં–જાળાં ગુંથાયેલાં છે. ધર્મ આધારીત જીવન–પદ્ધતી માનવીને તેની બુદ્ધીશક્તી પ્રમાણે, લોભ, લાલચ અને ભય પમાડી આ જટાજાળ કે વીષચક્રમાંથી બહાર નીકળવા દેતી નથી. આપણા સમાજ ઉપર આ જીવન–પદ્ધતીની પકડ હજારો વર્ષ જુની છે. માનવીના દરેક વીચાર, વાણી, કાર્યમાં તેનું પ્રતીબીમ્બ પડતું રહે છે.

      ડૉ. જેરામ દેસાઈએ, ઉપર જણાવેલી બધી જ અન્ધશ્રદ્ધાનાં વ્યવસ્થીત, વૈજ્ઞાનીક અને ગુજરાતી ભાષાના માન્ય અર્થો અને વ્યાખ્યાઓ આપ્યાં છે. તેની સાથે માહીતીસભર જ્ઞાન અને તર્કનો ઉપયોગ કરી, સર્વ અન્ધશ્રદ્ધા અને માન્યતાઓની, જ્ઞાન આધારીત માહીતી પુરી પાડી તેની અપ્રસ્તુતા અને પોકળતા જાહેર કરી છે.

    તમારા બ્લોગની તો મુલાકાત લીધા જ કરી છે, પણ પરીચયના ખાનામાં આવકાર આપવાનો રહી ગયો હતો !!

    આપણે સૌ કોઈ ને કોઈ હેતુ લઈને આ કાર્યે સંજોગાયાં છીએ. આ એક બહુ ઉપકારક કાર્ય છે. તમે તો છાપાંમાં પણ ચર્ચાપત્રો દ્વારા ઘણી મોટી સેવા કરી છે. આ બધા પત્રોમાંના સામ્પ્રતમાં લાગુ પડતા હોય તેવાને મુકીને સારું કામ કર્યું છે.

    તમારો ઇ-મેઇલ મળ્યો.

    કોઈના વિચાર સાથે કેટલા અંશે સમ્મત – અસમ્મત થવું એ જુદો મુદ્દો છે, પરંતુ વિચારની અભિવ્યક્તિનું સાધન શબ્દ છે અને શબ્દનો સાથ ગમે છે.

    વાંચવાનું બધું (બધું એટલે બધું), પણ એમાંથી કેટલું કામમાં લેવું, કેટલું યાદ રાખવું, કેટલું વિસારે પાડવું એ તો આપણા નીર-ક્ષીરવિવેક ઉપર આધાર રાખે છે.

    ત્યારે તો તમે બહુધા મારા વિચારો ને મળતા આવો છો.મને ખબર જ નહિ કે મારા જેવા અનેક હશે.જોકે હું નવા નવી લગભગ એક મહિના પહેલા આ બ્લોગ જગત માં ઘુસ્યો હતો.કદાચ રાજપૂતો માટે બધા પૂર્વગ્રહો થી ભરેલા હશે.અસ્પૃશ્ય જેવું.તમને તો બ્લોગ જગત માં આવકારતા જ કેટલા બધા સંદેશાઓ મળ્યા છે.જોકે આવો સ્વયંભુ રીવાજ હશે તે પણ ખબર નહિ.હું તો લખેજ રાખતો હતો,બસ લખે જ રાખતો હતો.કોઈના પ્રતિભાવ ની આશ વગર.પણ અને પણ ગુજરાતી બ્લોગ જગતે ભલે મને આવકારો કદાચ નહિ આપ્યો હોય પણ મારા બ્લોગ ને મહિનો પણ પૂરો થાય એ પહેલા બ્લોગ ઓફ ધ ડે જાહેર કરી બધું સાટું વળી દીધું.જયારે ભારતના તમામ રજપૂતો યુદ્ધોમાં માથા કપાયા પછી એમના વડવાઓના ધડ લડ્યા ના ગપગોળા થી પોરસાઈ ને જીવતા હોય ગર્વ અનુભવતા હોય ત્યારે હું કદાચ પહેલો રાજપૂત હોઈસ કહેવાવાલો કે આવું શક્ય જ નથી.સત્ય કહેવાથી શું ડરવું?છેવટે તો રાજપૂત જ છુને.

    Happy to read.
    But warry about the way it appears in gujarati. I am saying about Raswai, Dirghai, etc.
    Now a days many guj writers and gujarati lovers are trying to save Gujarati. But using wrong representation in gujarati may leads others to follow same wrong way as it appears in your blog, though your all creation are great.
    Sorry, it is my view.
    However, publishing gujarati creation in gujrati font in web is abselutly a great job and congretulation to you and all team of worldpress.com.
    My pray to all that please do select or modify the web program if any for cent persent achivement.

    ખુબજ સુંદર બ્લોગ છે અને ખાસ વાત તો એ ગમી કે તમે પોતાના વીશે કે બીજાના વીશે અહંકારી ભાષામાં વાતો નથી કરતા. અહી કોમેન્ટમાં પણ મેં જોયું કે પોતાના જ વખાણ કર્યે જાય એમને માટે શું કહેવું? તમે લખો છો ભગવાન છે કે નહિ, એ બાબતમાં તમે નરમાશથી વાતો લખો છો. રસ્તે જતો માણસ જોર જોરમાં ગાળા ગાળી કરે તો મોટું ટોળું ભેગું થાય એનો મતલબ એ નથી કે બધા એના ચાહક છે. લોકોને તમાશો જોવાનો એક આંતરિક શોક હોય છે. તમે આવી બાબતોથી દુર છો જાણી આંનદ થાય છે અને હું પોતે પણ અસલ સુરતી છું. મેં મારો બ્લોગ બનાવ્યો છે જેમાં સુવિચારોની પાવર પોઈન્ટનો ગુજરાતીમાં સ્લાઈડ શો,જોક્સ, એક એક કલાકના પ્રભુ ભજન,મંત્રોની સતત ધુન,કુકિંગ-રેસીપી,આરોગ્ય જેવી ઘણી બધી બાબતોનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. ટાઈમ મળે તો મારા બ્લોગની મુલાકાત લેવા વિન્નંતી.

  133. I have read for the first time about ALVIN’s writing. I am fascinated by the writer’s information.
    Being myself a recent writer of stories based on people’s real life problems in India. My first novel titled SPIRIT OF LOVE published in 2012 portraits aspects of arranged marriage and the consequences that follows in the lives of husband and wife. Story describes events that take place in Gujarat in 1955 and after life of the couple in the U.K. Book is available from Amazon UK. The story information is now lodged on the data base of Hollywood for a possible interest of film maker directors and or producers.
    I could use to research Alvin’s writings.
